| We utilize a customized 20' enclosed trailer
as our mobile command post. The command post is fully
self-sufficient with heat, air-conditioning, a diesel and
gas generator and a
bathroom. |

Radios
and Repeater
After
responding to Hurricane Katrina, we realized the need for solid
communications anywhere. We now have our own repeater and our own
commercial frequencies. The repeater is easily transportable
and deployed anywhere. A special thanks to Wiscomm
for their assistance in helping us set this all up.

GPS
We
use a large variety of GPS's ( Global Positioning Systems) The GPS units
allow us to accurately report our position and the position
of clues and lost subjects.

Side
Scan Sonar
The
team utilizes a Humminbird 987C Side Scan Sonar to assist
with water searches. This unit gives us the capability
to get clear pictures of the bottom regardless of water
conditions. Here you see a clear shot of the bottom of

Computers
We
use a large variety of laptop computers. These
computers are used for keeping track of personnel and
equipment as well as assisting in mapping.

Mapping
We
currently use Map-Tech's Terrain Navigator. This program
allows us to print detailed topographical maps with UTM
coordinates for anywhere in Wisconsin, Illinois or Michigan.
Pictured below is a recent mock search we completed at Lapham Peak
State Park.

First
Aid
Each
of our command vehicles is equipped with a fully stocked
First aid kit. Each individual volunteer also carried
there own personal kit.We also have several members who hold
various additional medical certifications ranging from EMT
to Doctor of Medicine.
