Gretzky is a Belgian Malinois.   Gretzky with her human partner, Geoff, are Canine Search Specialists with Wisconsin and Illinois Task Force One- the state level Urban Search and Rescue Teams. They also recently recertified Type II/FSA for SUSAR through New Jersey Task Force.

She has also passed the team's obedience test, the Canine Good Citizen test, the Therapy Dog International test and the NASAR Canine SARTECH III - Area Search Dog test.

Gretzky and Geoff also participated in the Department of Homeland Security -Top Off 2 training exercise in Chicago.
